Dr. Mailin Rivero Ortega is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician with extensive leadership experience in clinical research, primary care, hospital medicine, and hospice care. She currently serves as Principal Investigator and Medical Director at Suncare Research Center in Miami.
Milko R. Morriyon, APRN, NP-C, FNP/PMHNP-BC is a highly experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in psychiatric and primary care clinical practice and research. He holds advanced nursing degrees, including a Post-Master’s certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Participating in a Suncare Research Center Study is simple

If you qualify, you’ll come to our research site for an in-person visit. Our team will review the study details with you, answer your questions, and complete any required assessments. We’ll make sure you understand what to expect before moving forward.
Once you’re confirmed as eligible and you’re comfortable with the study requirements, participation can begin. We’ll guide you through each visit and stay available throughout the study for support and follow-up.
